Participating in national and international architectural and design competitions and fostering innovation stand at the forefront of our company's founding objectives as Bayraktar Architecture.

Hacking The City - Future Cities Competition
Organized by Istanbul Planning Agency, the competition is aimed at exploring and showcasing the possibilities of future cities through AI-supported applications. It seeks to demonstrate how artificial intelligence technologies can contribute to topics such as sustainability, smart cities, and green energy usage. Additionally, the competition aims to present various ideas that highlight both the potential positive impacts and potentially negative future scenarios for humanity through the different uses of technology.
Out of 243 entries, our submissions managed to become finalists, securing a place among the top 20.

Contrast Of Istanbul
Out of the 243 projects submitted to the competition, our work titled "Contrast Of Istanbul" secured its place as a finalist, making it to the top 20. Focusing on Istanbul as a city of the future, the project aims to depict the contrast that reflects the city's contemporary values while also striving to preserve its urban heritage. Even today, we can witness the coexistence of an 18th-century structure and a 21st-century building in various parts of Istanbul. Drawing inspiration from this reality, the concept emphasizes the anticipation that the city will continue to evoke similar feelings in the coming years.
Mosaic of Balat
Out of the 243 projects submitted to the competition, our work titled "Mosaic of Balat" secured its place as a finalist, making it to the top 20. Focusing on the streets of Istanbul, a city of the future, the project aims to depict the contrast that reflects the city's contemporary values while also striving to preserve its urban heritage. Interpreting the sensation created by the diverse values present in the Balat area as a mosaic artwork, the project envisions the portrayal of the future. The project's name, "Mosaic of Balat," has been chosen to represent this concept.
